Westerly Community Credit Union has been notified that TruStage, a third-party provider of insurance and protection products offered by credit unions, including Westerly Community Credit Union, is responding to a cybersecurity incident affecting portions of its technology environment. TruStage has reported that it proactively shut down portions of its network while it investigates the incident and works to restore services.

- The incident is limited to TruStage's systems and services.
- WCCU has not experienced a cybersecurity incident.
- WCCU's systems, digital banking services, cards, and member accounts have not been impacted.

We encourage you to remain alert and use caution when responding to unsolicited phone calls, emails, or text messages requesting personal or financial information. Fraudsters may attempt to take advantage of incidents like this by impersonating TruStage or another trusted organization. Avoid clicking links or providing sensitive information unless you have independently verified the source.
