WCCU Promotes Michelle Gifford to Vice President of Operations

WESTERLY, RI – Westerly Community Credit Union (WCCU) is pleased to announce the promotion of Michelle Gifford to Vice President of Operations. Michelle, who previously served as the Director of Operations, will now lead the credit union’s operational strategy, ensuring that systems and processes continue to meet the evolving needs of WCCU’s members and community.
In her new role Michelle will oversee the entire scope of the credit union’s operational strategy and performance. A key component of this new role is the direct oversight of both the Information Technology (IT) Department and the Risk Management Department. This integrated approach is designed to strengthen the credit union’s operational efficiency, technological advancement, and security. Her leadership will play a key role in driving innovation and supporting the credit union’s long-term strategic goals.
Michelle brings over 6 years of banking industry experience to the position. She holds a Bachelor of Arts in Applied Mathematics from Keene State College and is an active member in the community, where she volunteers for Relay for Life.
Michelle currently resides in Stonington, CT with her family.
