Westerly Community Credit Union Launches New College Refinance Loan
Westerly Community Credit Union (WCCU) recently launched their new College Refinance Loan, offering their members the ability to combine federal, private, and Parent PLUS student loans into one easy monthly loan payment. With this new loan, WCCU members can save money by reducing their monthly payment after qualifying for a lower interest rate, or by paying off their debt faster after refinancing into a shorter loan term. Refinancing can also provide borrowers an opportunity to release a co-signer from their loans.
“After listening to our members and researching the options, we learned that there is a large need for our College Refinance Loan in our communities,” stated Steve White, Westerly Community Credit Union President & CEO. “We are proud that we now offer a solution to help our friends and neighbors who are still repaying their college loans years after graduating.”
WCCU is offering this new College Refinance Loan to full-time working college graduates, or their parents, and offers both fixed and variable rate loans depending on the individual’s financial situation. In addition to no application, origination or disbursement fees, there is also no fee for paying off your loan early.
